All competences required for mobility activities will be described in the specific call. HASVS ensures that outgoing participants are well prepared before mobility.
Students and staff members participating in mobility programs will be selected based on the demonstrated foreign language skills if foreign language requirement is one of the conditions for participation. Before departure, the proficiency level of linguistic competences will evaluated as well as the capacity of the prospective mobility participant to improve their language skills before mobility, in case these skills were not satisfactory in the first place.
Mobility participants will also be prepared regarding cultural differences, in order to avoid any initial challenge that might occur. If needed, our IRO members will provide lectures on intercultural communication, meeting and discussion groups with former mobility participants.
Participants will be introduced to the Erasmus+ Online Linguistic Support in order to be better prepared for and make the most out of their period abroad.
For incoming students, if there is interest, HASVS organizes intensive free of charge Serbian language course. As for courses attended during the mobility period, incoming students will be offered consultations in English.
In addition, HASVS will organize an annual English language course for its administrative and teaching staff. Depending on the mobility program and language requirements, HASVS envisages the implementation of preparatory courses for outgoing student and teaching staff. The courses are conducted for English and Italian language, and the duration is not shorter than two weeks.
